Dry Grad & School Celebration Catering

Fusion Icy truck serving bubble tea and shaved ice at a dry grad celebration

Fuel for the Best All-Nighter of the Year

A great dry grad runs on energy — and at 2 a.m., energy means food. Food Trucks Catering by Tin Lizzy Concessions brings food trucks to dry grads and school celebrations across Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley, serving the fair food grads actually line up for, all night long.

Dry grad committees work hard to build a night that keeps every grad in the room, safe and having fun. Food is a big part of that — not a sad snack table in the corner, but fresh mini donuts coming out of the fryer, poutine with real curds, and bubble tea stations that feel like a night market. It is supervised-event friendly catering with genuine midway energy, from professional, licensed and insured crews.

The Late-Night Lineup

Stations or windows — your choice. Trucks can serve at the window fair-style, or we can run stations inside the flow of your event plan. Service is paced for the night: a big rush after the formal program, steady grazing through the activities hours, and a fresh round before the morning wind-down.

Works With Your School Relationship

Many schools meet us first through our school fundraisers — Mini Donut Treat Days during the year, and carnivals where we donate 10% of sales back to the school. Dry grad catering is the natural extension: the same crew your PAC already knows, booked for the biggest night of the school year. If your school has run a fundraiser with us, tell us — we will build the grad plan around what your students already love.

Dietary Coverage

Gluten-free guests can have any burger as a lettuce wrap, and our fresh-cut fries are uncoated and gluten-free. Poutine gravy is vegetarian, and vegetarian options run across the menu. Mini donut mix contains wheat, milk, soy, egg and barley; the donuts are vegetarian and peanut free — key for committees tracking allergies.

Pricing

Dry grad and school celebration catering is booked to a minimum spend of $1,500–$2,200 plus tax and 15% gratuity, depending on the day and season. The minimum is not an extra fee — it is the amount your order needs to reach, and everything served counts toward it. Grad season dates in May and June book early, so committees should reach out as soon as the date is set.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you really serve all night?

Yes — we schedule around your event plan, including the late-night hours when grads need food most. Tell us your program timing and we will staff the service windows to match.

What foods work best at a dry grad?

Mini donuts, poutine and bubble tea are the consistent top three, with tornado potato close behind. A rotation of two or three concepts keeps lines short and interest up all night.

Is this appropriate for a supervised, alcohol-free event?

Absolutely — school celebrations are a core part of what we do, from treat days to carnivals to grad nights. Professional uniformed crews, licensed and insured, and happy to coordinate with your committee and supervisors.

What does dry grad catering cost?

A minimum spend of $1,500–$2,200 plus tax and 15% gratuity applies, depending on day and season. It is a minimum your order reaches — not a fee added on top.

Which areas do you serve?

Schools across Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley — Surrey, Langley, Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Abbotsford, Chilliwack and beyond.
