Wedding Food Truck Catering

A Reception Meal — or the Late-Night Moment Everyone Remembers
Food trucks give a wedding something a plated dinner cannot: energy. Guests mingle, order what they actually want, and eat it hot and fresh. Food Trucks Catering by Tin Lizzy Concessions can run your wedding two ways — as the full reception meal, or as a late-night snack station that rolls in when the dance floor needs a second wind.
The late-night option is the one couples ask us about most. A few hours into the party, the truck lights up, the fryers come on, and your guests get handed fresh bags of hot mini donuts — made on the spot, still warm, the treat people photograph and remember long after the cake is forgotten.
Your Names, In Lights
Our LED truck can display the couple's names, monogram or custom message on its LED signs, lit up over the serving window all night. It is a photo backdrop, a welcome sign and a snack station in one.
The Wedding Lineup
- Mini donuts — the flagship. Fresh bags handed to guests as a late-night snack or a sweet send-off
- Poutine — fresh-cut uncoated fries (gluten-free), real cheese curds and vegetarian gravy; a poutine station has genuine bar energy
- Burgers and grilled cheese — hearty reception mains, including mac & cheese grilled cheese
- Hot dogs and tornado potato — fun, fast, crowd-pleasing additions
- Bubble tea, lemonade and shaved ice — favourite refreshment station picks
- Fish and chips — a classic West Coast reception option
- Partner trucks with one call — tacos and Mexican from Los Tacos Hermanos, and Greek from G's Donairs, coordinated through us when you want more cuisines
Gluten-free guests can have any burger as a lettuce wrap, and our fresh-cut fries are uncoated and gluten-free. Our poutine gravy is vegetarian. Mini donut mix contains wheat, milk, soy, egg and barley; the donuts are vegetarian and peanut free.
Where We Serve Weddings
We cater at barns and farms, halls, breweries, backyards and outdoor venues across Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley — Surrey, Langley, Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam and beyond. Guest counts are flexible: one truck handles an intimate reception, and multiple trucks scale up for large weddings without slowing service.
How Booking Works
Weddings are booked to a minimum spend of $1,500–$2,200 plus tax and 15% gratuity, depending on the day and season. The minimum is not an extra fee — it is simply the amount your order needs to reach, and everything served counts toward it. Book early: summer Saturdays go first, and 6 to 12 months ahead is a comfortable window for peak dates — though it is always worth asking about a shorter timeline. Tastings are easy: visit the trucks at one of our public events and try the food exactly as your guests will get it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a food truck really handle a full wedding reception?
Yes. We serve at Canada's largest fairs and feed thousands of people a day in season — a wedding guest list is a comfortable service. Multiple trucks keep lines short and menus varied.
How does the late-night mini donut station work?
The truck arrives for your chosen window — often 9 or 10 pm onward — and hands out fresh bags of hot mini donuts to guests as they dance, mingle and head home.
Can the truck show our names or wedding logo?
Yes. Our LED truck displays the couple's names, monogram or a custom message on its LED signs throughout service.
What does wedding catering cost?
A minimum spend of $1,500–$2,200 plus tax and 15% gratuity applies, depending on day and season. It is a minimum your order reaches — not a fee added on top.
Do you cater outside Vancouver?
Yes — across Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley, including farm and barn venues in Langley, Surrey and Abbotsford.
