Film Set Food Truck Catering

Tin Lizzy poutine truck serving a film crew on set in Burnaby

Hot, Fresh and On the Production's Clock

Crews remember the days the food was good. Food Trucks Catering by Tin Lizzy Concessions brings food trucks directly to your lot, studio or location — a crew treat, a craft-service alternative, or a full hot meal service that runs on the production's schedule, not ours.

The difference from standard catering is freshness and speed. Instead of trays holding in a warmer, your crew orders at the window and eats food cooked to order — burgers off the grill, fresh-cut fries and poutine from the fryer, mini donuts made in front of them. Our fair-season crews serve thousands a day at the Calgary Stampede, Edmonton K-Days, the Regina Exhibition and the PNE, so a high-volume break for a crew of 100+ is a comfortable, well-rehearsed service.

Built Around Production Hours

The Production-Friendly Lineup

Dietary coverage is built in rather than handled as special requests. Mini donut mix contains wheat, milk, soy, egg and barley; the donuts are vegetarian and peanut free.

Where We Work

Based in Port Coquitlam, we regularly serve productions across Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley — including the studio and production hubs in Burnaby and Vancouver, and location shoots from North Vancouver to Langley and Surrey. Trucks are fully self-contained; we are licensed and insured, and have operated since 1995.

Booking and Production Paperwork

We are invoice and purchase-order friendly, work directly with production coordinators and accounting, and confirm dates, call times and menus in writing. Multi-day and recurring bookings across a shoot are welcome.

Film set catering is booked to a minimum spend of $1,500–$2,200 plus tax and 15% gratuity, depending on the day and season. The minimum is not an extra fee — it is the amount your order needs to reach, and everything served counts toward it. Short-notice requests are worth a call; our schedule often has room.

Frequently Asked Questions

How large a crew can you serve in one break?

Crews of 100+ are routine. Tell us your headcount and break length and we will match trucks, crew and menu so the whole company is fed inside the window.

Can you work early call times or overnight shoots?

Yes. We schedule around production hours — early setups, night shoots and second meals included. Share the call sheet timing and we will plan to it.

Do you work with production offices on invoicing and POs?

Yes. We invoice production companies and work with purchase orders and production accounting. One contact handles booking, scheduling and paperwork.

What does film set catering cost?

A minimum spend of $1,500–$2,200 plus tax and 15% gratuity applies, depending on day and season. It is a minimum your order reaches — not a fee added on top.

Which areas do you cover?

Studios, lots and locations across Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley — Burnaby and Vancouver production hubs included.
